January 25, 2025

During Black History Month, the Rehoboth Art League will showcase towering works from Dane Tilghman in his solo exhibition, Every Day Man, on display in the Corkran Gallery, 12 Dodds Lane, Henolpen Acres. Tilghman’s pieces be exhibited along with RAL’s Recent Acquisitions collections showcase and league members’ creations.

Tilghman’s larger-than-life paintings feature African American subjects in and out of daily life, popular entertainment and the world of sports. Using  historic black-and-white images as starting places, attempts to connect to the souls of those who have gone on to glory before him, immortalizing the everyday man on canvas.
