Kenneth Russell Stevenson, enjoyed family time

Kenneth Russell Stevenson, 74, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth was born in Milford Aug. 23, 1950, to his parents Charles Reese and Helen Jane (Reynolds) Stevenson.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Kenneth spent many years working in the construction field for John P. Argo Construction Company, and later owned and operated Integrity Builders LLC. Kenneth was a past member of Conley’s UMC, Oak Orchard Community Church, and most recently became a member of Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown. He enjoyed coaching Little League softball and middle school football, and drove the equipment trailer for Cape Henlopen High School band for several years. Kenneth enjoyed golfing and hunting, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard Hart; his brother, David Stevenson; his sister, Peggy Johnson; and his granddaughter, Grace Stevenson.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Diane (Hart) Stevenson; children, Pamela Crews (Steffan), Kenneth Stevenson II (Ashley) and Laura Stevenson; siblings, Lynn Silicato (Dennis), Glen Stevenson (Karen), Terri Campbell (David Lee) and Trisha Davis (Mark); brother-in-law, Richard Hart II (Deane); sisters-in-law, Sharon Hart and Alice Betts (John); mother-in-law, Charlotte Hart; seven grandchildren, Addison, Kenneth III, Nicholas, Alisabeth, Kaleb, Layton and Caroline; and one great-grandchild, Marcellus.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5,  at Crossroad Community Church, 20684, State Forest Road, Georgetown, with a time of visitation beginning at noon. Burial will follow at Conley's Chapel Cemetery, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Tunnell Cancer Center, Beebe Medical Foundation, 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958; or Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
