Lord Baltimore Lions Club inducts new members

Lord Baltimore Lions Club welcomed three new members to its ranks at the March 7 meeting.

Lions Paul Hammond, Helene Kirby and Barbara Somogyi were joined by their sponsors Lion Maureen Tomkeil, Lion Thrynn Kirby and King Lion Scott Brannan for the special moment of induction all Lions remember throughout their careers in service.

The induction ceremony into both the Lord Baltimore Lions Club and Lions Club International was led by Lord Baltimore Lions member and Past District Gov. Karl Gude, assisted by Lions Dennis Berkey and Susan Elliott.

After the formal induction of the new members, Brannan said, “I look forward to working with Lions Paul, Helene and Barbara, and I thank you for the volunteer hours you have already contributed in previous months to service activities.” They were welcomed and congratulated by all Lord Baltimore Lions Club members present.
