Milton Little League cancels opening games, parade

Milton Little League has announced that the opening ceremonies, games and parade planned for the 2025 season opening have been canceled due to rainy weather expected over the weekend of April 12.

There will be no makeup date for the parade, although the Little League is considering holding a separate ceremony to celebrate the beginning of the season.

A statement on the league’s website said, “We know this isn’t the news anyone was hoping for, and we truly appreciate your understanding. The good news? Next week’s forecast looks much better, and we can’t wait to get the season started!”
