A ceremony for 138 Mariner Middle School eighth-graders was held June 13 to celebrate their achievements and wish them future success.
A memorial bench and shade tree were given by the class of 2016 in memory of Bob Willey, a Milton School alumnus who was an active member of the community. Willey died 12 days before the Mariner ceremony, and his great-granddaughter, Sydney Montgomery, presented the school with the gift.
