The Cape Region is suffering under yet another heat wave and drought. High temperatures in the upper 90s hit the area this week and expected rain early in the week did not materialize. Rainfall is only half what is considered average for this time of year. A slight break in the heat wave is expected with high temperatures in the 80s expected over the weekend.
Not long after this was posted July 19, a much-needed rainstorm hit the Cape Region.
