Barbara and Andrew Johnson celebrate 65th anniversary

Barbara and Andrew Johnson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary recently with a luncheon for family and friends at their home in Rehoboth Beach.

They are the proud parents of seven children and have 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The guests arrived from far and near - New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Alabama, Virginia, Florida, Washington state, Minnesota, and Delaware.

Good times and fond memories were shared by all.

A highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a booklet in which each of the 22 grandchildren wrote a page of memories of time spent growing up with their grandparents.

Along with lots of old photos, it made for a special memento to be enjoyed many times in the years to come.

The Johnsons were married Sept. 6, 1947.
