Lewes Home Depot should be commended

November 30, 2012

I went on Black Friday around 4:30 a.m. to the Lewes Home Depot store to start shopping when the store opened at 5 a.m.

At about 4:45 a.m., the entrance doors opened and two Home Depot employees wheeled out a cart with a pleasant surprise for those awaiting to enter the store.

They had bought out several dozen assorted Dunkin Donuts as well as three containers of coffee which were distributed complimentary to those awaiting the store opening.

I don't know of any other business that welcomed their shoppers in this fashion.  The management of the Home Depot should be commended for this action.  They certainly acted with their best foot forward to welcome shoppers.

Other businesses should take note.
