Vineyards signs commercial lease with Social Security Administration

The Social Security Administration, currently located in Georgetown, has recently signed a 10-year lease at the Vineyards on Route 9 in Lewes. Fernmoor Homes will welcome the Social Security Administration to the Vineyards community. Construction is slated to be completed for a move-in date toward the end of 2013.

Fernmoor Homes is joining the Social Security office on the first floor of the building at 12001 Old Vine Blvd. as the company is completing its new Sales and Leasing Center. “It will be great for our company to have a street presence here at the Vineyards to better serve our residents and the future needs of the community,” said Cindy Scott of Fernmoor Homes.

"In addition to the commercial activity, we have been very busy with residential leasing," says Scott. Fernmoor opened the second building for sales and leasing about six weeks ago, and the building is 70 percent occupied. “The response has been very encouraging,“ Scott said. “Our residences, ranging from one to four bedrooms, can really meet the needs of a wide variety of families. It is great to see the community growing and moving forward as we plan our next buildings.”
