JROTC cadets complete officers academy
The Sussex Tech JROTC Raven Battalion held its annual Officers Candidate Academy June 10-13. Cadets received instruction in the responsibilities and duties of their new ranks so they know what is expected of them when school begins again. Parents and friends were invited to the promotion ceremonies June 13 at the conclusion of the academy.
Sgt. First Class Jerry LeGates and Sgt. Zachary Kraus were given Outstanding Performance Awards for going over and above their responsibilities and demonstrating great initiative.
