First Town Club of Lewes starts monthly meetings Sept. 16

September 12, 2014

President Estelle Stevenson of the First Town Club of Lewes kicked off the 2014-15 year by hosting a coffee in her home to introduce this year’s officers and to welcome the chairs of the various committees who coordinate many of the club programs, trips, member gatherings, luncheons and meetings.

As Stevenson explained during the meeting, many First Town Club members have been in the organization for many years, and many members are newer; this cross section of women brings together a wide range of ideas to enhance programs and activities.

Women who enjoy bridge or canasta, cross stitch, day trips, getting together with the ladies for lunch, and interesting speakers at monthly meetings can learn more about the First Town Club of Lewes by calling Stevenson at 302- 645-7296.

The next meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes. This meeting is not sponsored by the library or the City of Lewes.
