Bayhealth Women’s Care welcomes Busola Ogunlade

Bayhealth Women’s Care Associates in Milford has expanded its practice with the addition of obstetrician and gynecologist Busola Ogunlade, MD. She is welcomed by Miaohou Xu, MD, PhD.

The practice is part of the Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team, which operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware.

Ogunlade strives to provide each of her patients with individualized care. She takes a personalized approach to patient needs while also evaluating their health history and emotional, physical and spiritual needs. She provides well-woman services, maternity and postpartum care for women of all ages.

Ogunlade earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Howard University in Washington, D.C., in 1999, and earned her medical degree, magna cum laude, from American University of Antigua School of Medicine in 2009. She completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa., in 2014. During her residency, she was recognized for Excellence in Patient Care and Excellence in Medical Student Training.

She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine, American Reproductive Health Professionals, and American College of Physicians.
