Alfred 'Fred' Goeller, enjoyed singing in choir

Alfred "Fred" Goeller, 80, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born Wednesday, Aug. 22, 1934, in New York, N.Y., son of the late Alfred and Claire (Hull) Goeller.

Fred was a very talented singer who enjoyed sharing his passion by participating in different chorus groups. He was a long time member of the Cape Henlopen Senior Chorus; he also sang with the Lewes Men's Chorus and was a 50-year member of the Kingston Maennerchor. Fred also took pleasure in dancing and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Paul and Grace Marburger. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Grace D. Goeller; six children: Peter Goeller of Texas, Steven Goeller and his wife Debbie of North Carolina, Robinson Bradley and his wife Eileen of New York, Bryan Bradley and his wife Kim of New York, Raymond Bradley of New York, and Linda-su Mabey and her husband Michael of New York; eight grandchildren: Ryan, Erin, Amanda, Meredith, Derek, Aidan, Liam and Wesley; two great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Isabella; and his former wife, Brunhilde Riel of North Carolina.

All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
