Heather Teresa Harman, Cape High graduate
Heather Teresa Harman, 27, of Milford passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Prince William County, Va., Jan. 6, 1987, the daughter of Gene Harman and Angela (Bailey) Rush.
Heather graduated from Cape Henlopen High School with the Class of 2005.
She was serving an internship as a surgical tech with Cedar Tree in Long Neck and also held a part time job in sales with Shoe Show in Milford.
She is survived by her father, Gene Harman and his wife Kim of Lincoln; her mother, Denise Rush and her husband Dale of Stafford, Va.; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Harman and paternal great-grandmother, Harriett Harman, both of Milford; two brothers, Andrew Michael Bergmann and Calvin James Harman, both of Lincoln; two sisters, Tiffany Harman of Stafford, and Ashley Harman of Lincoln; her beloved canine companion Bailey; and many other family members who loved her and will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to NAMI Delaware (Nat'l Alliance on Mental Illness), 2400 W. 4th St., Wilmington, DE 19805, or Autism Delaware, 17517 Nassau Commons Blvd., Unit 1, Lewes, DE 19958.
