John F. McGibbon, hard-working individual

John F. McGibbon, 70, of Lewes, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at his home. He was born Jan. 23, 1944, in Cranbury, N.J., son of the late Francis and Florence (Connolly) McGibbon.

Mr. McGibbon graduated from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J. He was a hard working individual who proudly owned and operated Ocean Rubber and Plastics.

During his spare time, he enjoyed going to the beach and fishing in the Delaware Bay waters. He was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.

Mr. McGibbon is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Dembkowski) McGibbon; his three sons: John Francis McGibbon Jr. of Newark, Maxwell McGibbon of Newark and Sean McGibbon of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Julia Schultz of Columbus; stepchildren: Scott Bogia of Atlantic City, N.J., Benjamin Bogia of Newark and Kelli Bogia of Lewes; and five stepgrandchildren.

All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
