Friends of Georgetown Public Library donate $50K

The Friends of the Georgetown Public Library presented a check for $50,000 to the library commissioners at their recent fundraising event. The funds were raised by the Friends through their annual galas and 5K races and various book sales.

The $50,000 will be used as seed money for the Georgetown Public Library Foundation, an endowment fund for the library.
