Rehoboth Beach Main Street (RBMS) announced its 2014 Cottage & Town Award Winners at a reception held at the Rehoboth Beach Museum Sunday, November 16. Recipients of the awards were bestowed a beautiful bronze plaque to proudly display in their home/business.
2014 Cottage & Town Winners:
- Commercial Preservation/Renovation: Rehoboth Guest House, 40 Maryland Avenue, Frank Colonnello & Garrett Wood
- Commercial Facade: The Coffee House and New Home Gallery by Schell Brothers, 18 Rehoboth Avenue
- Best Garden: 114 Henlopen Avenue, Mario Rocha and Tom Holmes
- Residential New Construction: 93 Henlopen Avenue, John and Sharon Stanton
- Residential Preservation: 8 Dover Street, Helen Schneck
- Residential Renovation: 112 Park Street, Patrick Kocks
Sponsored by Echelon Custom Homes this year, these coveted awards commemorate the preservation and renovations of our charming downtown community. From Best Garden to New Construction, there were six entry categories to choose from and work must have occurred within the City of Rehoboth the last three years. Nominated projects are juried by the Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee.
