Enviro-Master announces new franchise location in Delaware

December 30, 2014

Enviro-Master, recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as a Top New Franchise for 2014, welcomes its newest franchise location in Delaware to its fast-growing franchise system that redefines clean. Delaware natives Michael and John Kelly of Dover enlisted the help of career coach Bob Koch of The Entrepreneur’s Source to identify business opportunities leading to the franchise purchase from Pat Swisher, president and CEO of Charlotte, N.C.-based Enviro-Master and considered to be the founder of the hygiene industry. Enviro-Master of Delaware will serve restaurants, businesses and organizations throughout the Delmarva Peninsula to include the Eastern Shore of Maryland, including Cecil County; southeastern Pennsylvania’s Chester and Delaware counties; and Delaware, where the Kellys have been lifelong residents. Enviro-Master-Delaware will launch in mid-January.

Mike Kelly said, “While searching for our next adventure, Enviro-Master was the first franchise opportunity our business coach suggested. We weren’t sure about the hygiene industry but kept returning to the concept and ultimately realized this was the best way to be extremely successful.” John Kelly said, “I saw the opportunity as well, especially with the operational component. I appreciate that Enviro-Master fulfills a need; it doesn’t create one. We also did not want a business that was governed by technology.”

Mike said, “We feel we can jump ahead with our franchise because of our unique and diverse talents.” Michael most recently was the regional manager for a national home security company, and John was a partner in a local CPA firm. This is their second venture together, having previously owned a furniture and flooring store in Dover. The Kelly brothers are only 18 months apart in age and got the entrepreneurial bug early from their father, a successful Kent County businessman.

Bob Koch said, “Michael and John Kelly had been searching for a new business venture that they would find engaging and that had scalability. At first they were somewhat uncertain as to how the opportunity would fit their needs. The more they learned, the more excited they became about becoming a franchisee with Enviro-Master. It was obvious that Enviro-Master was a business with an exclusive territory and large upside potential. As previous business partners, Mike and John can make use of their leadership skills, and I am confident they will be a smashing success.”

“We welcome Michael and John to our growing franchise family,” said Pat Swisher. “We believe they possess the business acumen to build a strong business that will meet consumer demand and that they will serve as capable brand ambassadors in Delaware.”
