Ice Crystals

With nighttime temperatures in the teens, and daytime temperatures not getting above freezing I hoped to find some nice ice photo ops.  I found this seed head of a marsh plant covered in ice crystals out on the frozen surface of Prime Hook Creek just as the sun rose.  I laid down on the ice, which thankfully was thick enough to support me  about 20 feet out from the riverbank, and got a few nice macro shots of the interesting crystal pattern.  I have a few more from this morning to share in the next few days.
