Elementary Division Indoor League Week Four
In the opening game of the afternoon, the ShoreShooters defeated the CrazyEights by a final of 3-0. Peyton Shields sealed the win with a pair of goals in the first half and Madeline Pepper finished the scoring with her goal with 1:30 remaining. The Destroyers took the first half lead behind goals by McKenna Boyle (2) and Kelly Bragg while holding the SuperSeven to a shutout. Boyle also earned her hat trick late in the second half. In a tightly played game, Lyndsey Weller finally got the game winner for ShoreWaves in a 1-0 win over the DeDeterminators. The final game of the afternoon saw the DeStars prevail over StarBurst by a final of 3-1. Lori Sapp, Maddie long and McKenna Boyle had the goals for the winners, while Grace Hudson had the goal for the StarBurst.
Senior Division Indoor League Week Four
In a back and forth game, Team Fuhr finally was able to overcome Team Gooch by a final of 4-3. Taylor Smith had the hat trick for Team Fuhr supported by a solo goal by Kaila Hindt. Lexi Gooch (2) and Samie Jacona had the goals for Team Gooch. Team Staley was able to break open a first half tie to gain the win over Team McGloin by a final of 7-3. Madi Cook (3), Marcella Sabbagh (3) and Lindsay Williams scored for Team Staley while Carey Karl (2) and Maria McGloin had the goals for Team McGloin. Team Hagan found the goal cage often to earn a 10-3 win over Team Medd. Madi Irwin (4), Hailey Sibide (3), Julianna Tyndall (2) and Lisa Williams scored for Team Hagan. Maci Long (2) and Rylee Pettyjohn had the goals for the injury depleted Team Medd.
League play resumes on Sunday, February 1, in the Milton Elementary School gym with games starting at 12:30 pm.
