Elementary Division Indoor League Week Five
The opening game of week five in the Elementary Division was a 4-0 win by SuperSeven over CrazyEights. Raegan Ciabattoni earned the hat trick and Samantha Connors had the solo goal for the SuperSeven. With an offensive outburst, the ShoreShooters defeated the DeDeterminators by a final of 7-1. Madeline Pepper (2), Makenzie Ridenour (1), Elise Westbrook (2) and Emma Westbrook (2) had the goals for ShoreShooters while Rilyn Lehman had the DeDeterminator goal. The Destroyers earned a 3-0 victory over the DeStars with McKenna Boyle (2) and Kelly Bragg scoring for the Destroyers. Lily Ashby carried the StarBurst to a 3-0 win over ShoreWaves as she earned her hat trick.
The league takes a week off while their older sisters are playing in the Disney Showcase at Orlando, Florida, February 5-8, 2015
Senior Division Indoor League Week Five
Team Hagan defeated Team McGloin by a final of 5-2 with big second half outburst with Madi Irwin (3) and Lacy Bayley getting the goals to support a first half goal by Lisa Williams. Carey Karl and Stephanie Karl had goals for Team McGloin. The win earned Team Hagan the #1 seed in the playoffs. Team McGloin will be the #5 seed.
Team Gooch finally prevailed over Team Medd by a final of 7-4. Amanda Sponaugle had the big night of scoring with four goals supported by Lexi Gooch (2) and Meredith Carey. Sydney Ostroski (2) and Maci Long (2) scored for Team Medd. Team Gooch is the #3 seed while Team Medd is the #6 seed for the playoffs.
Team Fuhr and Team Staley played to a 4-4 tie in the final game of pool play. Vienna Iacona (2), Taylor Smith and Brittany Betts scored for Team Fuhr while Madi Cook (2), Marcella Sabbagh, and Anna Steiner had goals for Team Staley. Team Fuhr is the #4 seed and Team Staley is the #2 seed.
The playoffs begin on Sunday, February 15 at the Milton Elementary School gym.
