Rylie Maedler receives Legion Auxiliary Youth Hero and Good Deed Award

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 17 announced Rylie J. Maedler was recognized with the National American Legion Auxiliary Youth Hero and Good Deed Award.

Maedler was nominated when she and her family presented information to the auxiliary about the Rylie's Smile Foundation and her work to secure funds so other children can get iPads to use when they are battling illness as Maedler has done.

Unit 17 Auxiliary members presented the award to Maedler at their April meeting and celebrated with cake and photos. They thanked Maedler and her family for their important foundation work.
