SwitchFlops founder Lindsay Phillips will be at Blooming Boutique May 23

Lindsay Phillips, the energetic inspiration and founding force behind SwitchFlops, a unique footwear concept, will be at Blooming Boutique Saturday, May 23.

Lindsay Phillips Shoes and SwitchFlops are interchangeable footwear that allow wearers to change the look of their shoes easily and affordably to match any outfit. Blooming Boutique will be offering lots of specials to celebrate Phillips' visit.

Anyone who purchases a pair of shoes or SwitchFlops will get any snap or strap for free. Anyone who buys three snaps or straps will get a snap or strap for free! There will be food and refreshments all day long.

Phillips' footwear concept evolved from a high school art project, ceramic flip-flops. Amazed by the response, Phillips began designing functional flip-flops with colorful straps, each adorned by a unique button. Then she realized that by using hook and loop fastener she could create one shoe with many straps, unlimited choices with minimal effort. This simple, yet brilliant innovation was the birth of SwitchFlops. Phillips applied for a patent on her idea before she graduated from high school.

With the variety of SwitchFlops strap designs and sandals, Phillips' dream of changing from beach casual to a formal affair in a matter of seconds was realized. As she likes to say, "Change your look, not your sole."
