Diva Nails and Spa celebrates opening in Ocean View

Diva Nails and Spa celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting May 19 at its new location in Ocean View. After the ribbon was cut, owner Anna Nguyen introduced guests to the location and all it has to offer, from the herbs used in therapeutic scrubs and soaks to the Human Touch brand massage chairs. As part of the celebration, the public received a special 20 percent off services the entire day.

This spa is described not as a nail service, but a nail experience. Based on its existing locations in Connecticut, also started by Nguyen, Diva Nails and Spa offers manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, waxing and tanning services. There is a special focus on natural and organic products used in the spa as evidenced by the jars of herbs and scrubs neatly displayed on shelves for customers to view and smell.

In addition, the salon focuses on its commitment to sanitation and disinfection using Sanismart and Autoclave sanitation systems as well as many disposable one-use tools. “So you when you sit in a pedicure you’re not worried ‘Did they clean the tub?’ You have no worries on that,” said Nguyen.
