Regina 'Ginny' Radomski, loved at Happy Harry's
Regina D. Radomski (Ginny) left this earth to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 17, 2015. She was born Aug. 17, 1929, to Louis and Magdalena Dubiel in Baltimore Md.
She lived in Baltimore her entire life until moving to Rehoboth Beach, to live next to her daughter and daughter-in-law in 2004.
In 1947, she married her one and only true love, John Radomski. They had many happy years together, and had two children. She lost her beloved husband in 1997, but carried on with the devout belief that they would meet again.
While in Baltimore, Ginny worked nights at All First Bank. She later went on to work for the Pasadena Library branch and the local Rite Aid.
Upon moving to Rehoboth Beach, Ginny went to work for Happy Harry’s. She was known as the “little lady with the smile behind the register.” Her frequent customers would always comment on what a happy person she was, always smiling and laughing.
Ginny loved animals, especially the stray cats and kittens. She always made sure they had food and water and let her porches be used to catch the strays, insuring they were spayed and vaccinated before being released again. She kept one very special kitten, Baby, for herself. She loved all her grand-dogs and watching the birds on the outside feeders.
Ginny was considered Mom to the many people who loved her. Her extended family grew quite large and loving.
Ginny is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; her parents; her sister Margaret Swift; and her brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Joan Dubiel. She is survived by her sister, Louise Kaufman. Ginny leaves behind her daughter, Sharon Radomski and daughter-in-law, Janis Bardi of Rehoboth Beach; their children, Erin, Daniel and David Cardosi of College Park Md.; her son and daughter-in-law Andrew and Mary Radomski of Forest Hill, Baltimore; their daughter, Rebecca E. Pearce and her partner Jason Cindric and their two daughters, Jordyn and Brooke Cindric, of Baltimore. She also leaves behind her family who considered her to be ever loving Mom, Mary Lerch and Julie Keller, Francis Cardosi, Bev and Gil Lerch, and Peg and Rick Wess. She is truly loved and blessed and will be missed by all of us.
A Celebration of Life will be open to all at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach, at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 18. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginny’s name to: Just Us Cat and Kitten Rescue, c/o Bob Harrison, 47 Maryland Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
