The JJ Stein 5K in Rehoboth, held July 26, is the only race that serves bacon and eggs afterward. This year's 18th run attracted 255 runners and was won by a pair of Rehoboth Beach Patrol lifeguards.
Liam Magerr, 20, was the overall male winner in a time of 18:10. Joanna Baird was the first woman, in 19:49.
“Always a great race on a great course run through the Acres," said Race Director Tim Bamforth. "Friends of JJ and the Stein family do a great job coming out and supporting the race."
A total of 15 runners broke the 20-minute standard, while a total of 85 ran the course in under 8 minutes per mile.
