Errin Britt, lived a rich life
Errin Britt entered this world May 18, 1978, and passed away at her home in Sunbury, Pa., Sunday, Aug, 2, 2015. She lived her life in the pursuit of excellence and held herself to the highest standards. She was a resident of Milton from 2003-08.
Errin served her country with honor as a military police officer for eight years in the U.S. Army Reserves, during which time she received an Army Achievement Medal for meritorious service in 2000. After leaving the service Errin continued her pursuit and education in fields that would continue to protect and safeguard the rights of employees at Securitas, John Hopkins Hospital and Rite Aid. Within these positions she was responsible for coaching and mentoring managers and supervisors on effective employee/labor relations and conflict resolution. She often performed investigations and provided unique solutions to difficult situations involving investigations of bullying, stalking, acts of violence and other behaviors that may impact anyone within their work environment.
Errin would also bring these skills into her personal life as a trusted confidant to many of her friends and family members. She had the ability and the desire to understand situations from many angles, as well as, make you feel like you were truly heard and your thoughts and feelings had value no matter the situation.
Errin is survived by her partner, family and friends who admired her and loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Antisdel. She had a small intimate circle of close friends and family members that she cherished. She lived her life proud of who she was and what she was able to achieve in the short time she was with us all. Errin was a seeker, traveler, educator, coach, student, mentor, friend, partner, sister, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, leader and so much more to so many.
Errin will forever live in our hearts and memories. We pray that she was greeted by her mother on the other side of this thing we call life.
Errin Britt was cremated Aug. 6. We will honor her life with a sunset memorial celebration in Lewes, Saturday, Sept.19, beginning at 6 p.m., on Georgia Avenue directly on the beach. For additional information please contact 302-249-0898.
