Volunteers from throughout Sussex County recently gathered at 16 Mile Brewing Co. in Georgetown to share progress on the community projects and events being planned for 2016 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Beebe Healthcare. Kathleen Schell presented her committee’s plans to unveil a fabulous new float for Beebe’s Centennial in local parades.
Volunteers shown are (l-r) Kathleen Schell, Frank Molino, Dan Mapes and Jean Winstead.
Co-chairs of the Events Committee for the 100th Anniversary are community members Kathleen Schell, Benedette Cooper and Eileen Clark.
Although Beebe already has signed up more than 200 100th Anniversary volunteers to date - both Beebe team members and community members throughout Sussex County - more volunteers are still needed, particularly for events such as the multiple community parades, the Beebe Family Fall Festival and for the Community Engagement Committee.
