Dr. John Rees to lecture on thyroid health Oct. 29 at Milton library
Dr. John Rees, DC, CFMP, will present Understanding Your Thyroid at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Milton Public Library. Rees’ presentation will address many of the symptoms of thyroid conditions such as fatigue, dry skin and brittle hair, weight gain and loss, muscle and joint pain, brain fog and memory issues.
Over 30 million people in the United States have thyroid conditions, and more than half of them are undiagnosed. Women are 10 times more likely than men to have thyroid problems. With over 30 over years of chiropractic wellness care as well as being a certified functional medicine practitioner, Rees has extensive hands-on experience treating patients who have had difficulty finding solutions for what may be undiagnosed thyroid dysfunction.
His presentation will help attendees understand how the thyroid gland works, what to do when it doesn’t work, and a plan of action to follow to help identify and resolve the thyroid issues they may have. Rees will distribute an informative handout for participants and will be available after the presentation for questions and answers.
This event is free to the public, but seats are limited. To reserve a seat, call 302-684-1995 or email doctor_rees@yahoo.com.
