The Cape Henlopen High School Cape Chorale has been invited to sing at the National Christmas Tree Music Program in Washington, D.C. for the third year in a row. The performance will take place at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17 at President’s Park on The Ellipse south of the White House.
"I was totally thrilled when I received the email that we were selected to sing at the National Christmas Tree once again this year! I thought perhaps since we had been selected twice before, our chances would not be not as good to go once again. It is always a wonderful day when we are able to do this. Through Sen. Carper’s office we are hoping to have a Christmas White House tour to really make the day special!" said Louise Foster, Cape Chorale director.
