Rehoboth Golf Park: Alive and well

October 30, 2015

Knowing that the rumors of future plans for the Rehoboth Golf Park property to be turned into housing have been circulating for some time, and since been publicized by the front page of the Oct. 20 Cape Gazette, please realize that these are just plans that will be going through the long process of clearing Sussex County Planning and Zoning and Sussex County Council, a process that takes at least a year and longer to complete.

In the meantime, you can look forward to Rehoboth Golf Park finishing this year and being open for the 2016 season for sure, and 2017 pending the approval of development plans.

With October’s great weather and predictions for next month looking warm, Rehoboth Golf Park is planning to stay open through November. December is usually a different story. So, do not leave town or put up your golf clubs just yet.

Enjoy this great fall weather and thank you to all for our best year since reopening as a 9 Hole Par 3 course in 2012 in total contradiction to the October 20 Cape Gazette quote, “The golf course is not profitable for the current tenant.”
