The Beacon Middle School volleyball team made the trek to Sussex Academy Oct. 26 to face the Seahawks in a matchup of friends on the volleyball hardwood. The players from each team have been friends since elementary school, but the action was fast and furious as the Vikings outlasted the host Seahawks 25-19, 25-8 in a spirited match.
"It was really fun to play against Beacon," said Bella Kwan of Sussex Academy. "I was able to see girls that I haven't seen in awhile. Beacon has a great volleyball team."
