Millsboro Police Department honors Hudson

Millsboro Acting Chief Brian Calloway, left, Sgt. Robert Legates and Sgt. Barry Wheatley (not pictured) presented Beverly Hudson with a certificate of appreciation Dec. 17 for her service to the community and to the Millsboro Police Department.

Hudson has worked at the Millsboro Capital Cleaners since 1990. Recently, Capital Cleaners announced they will be relocating the Millsboro location at the first of the year.

Calloway said, Hudson will be truly missed. She always had a friendly smile, and she took pride in making sure the Millsboro Police Department’s uniforms were properly cleaned and returned.

Calloway said it was not unusual for Hudson to call the station when she was concerned if officers had any clean uniforms to wear or they had fallen behind on picking up their uniforms.

The Millsboro Police Department presented Hudson with a certificate of appreciation for her service to this department and to the community. Hudson will be truly missed, and the members of the Millsboro Police Department wish her the best in all of her future endeavors.
