The United States Army Cadet Command conducted a formal accreditation inspection March 21 of the Cape Henlopen High School Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program.
This accreditation, conducted every three years, consists of an in-ranks inspection of all 210 cadets in the program, a comprehensive cadet command and staff briefing, drill team and color guard evaluation, an examination of cadet records, an assessment of the JROTC class curriculum, and a supply accountability evaluation.
The overall score received by the cadet battalion was an outstanding 96.7 percent with commendations in all areas of cadet activities.
