JD Shuckers holds groundbreaking in Georgetown

JD Shuckers broke ground Feb. 12 on its new restaurant in the College Park Center on the intersection of Route 404 and Route 113, Georgetown. The original JD Shuckers has been located in Peddlers Village, Angola, for 10 years.
The new restaurant will be approximately 4,900 square feet with a projected completion by Aug. 1. The new restaurant will serve lunch and dinner, feature a raw bar and also be set up as a sports bar.
Georgetown Mayor Bill West spoke to the gathered community members and said "This is a great project for this community. Thank you." Sen. Brian Pettyjohn, R-Georgetown, also spoke, saying, "Thank you for making the investment in Georgetown."
