Rudder hosts International Women's Day party

The Rusty Rudder opened its doors March 8 to about 760 women who enjoyed upscale food and open bar for four hours, and entertainment by Laura Lea and DJ Freezie. Working the event as servers/bartenders were 42 men.
"It was an overwhelming success, and we are already planning for next year's event with Laura Lea and full band, a few DJs and we expect 1,000 women. We want to make this a new Sussex Country tradition," said Vikki Walls, entertainment director, Highway One.
