Kaufmans of Lewes celebrate 72nd wedding anniversary

Lewes residents Ruth and Gil Kaufman recently celebrated 72 years of marriage. They were wed June 13, 1953, at the Catonsville Methodist Church in Catonsville, Md., outside Baltimore.

The Kaufmans have three children, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. They reside in assisted living at The Moorings at Lewes, and their daughter Ruth Ann Kaufman, a member of Cape Artists, also resides in Lewes.
