November 22, 2024

Bayhealth recently held a reception for the Junior Board of Bayhealth, Kent Campus, to spotlight the local philanthropic organization’s donation of $50,000 to the new catheterization lab at the Kent Campus.

As part of the reception, Ben Collins, the senior director of operations for the Cardiovascular Service line, thanked the members of the Junior Board for their generous contribution and provided updates on future expansion plans.

The new catheterization lab, equipped with cutting-edge technology and advanced imaging capabilities, is a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, allowing for minimally invasive procedures that were previously only performed in the operating room.

"We are incredibly thankful to the Junior Board for their unwavering support and their commitment to Bayhealth’s mission and growth," said Bayhealth Foundation President Lindsay A. Rhodenbaugh, DMin. "Their generous gifts will have a lasting impact on our ongoing efforts to provide exceptional care and improve the health of our community.”

Over the past 75 years, the Junior Board has donated over $3 million to the hospital.

Bayhealth extends its deepest gratitude to the Junior Board for their remarkable generosity and commitment to our mission.
