- Private group -
September 14, 2015

(Cape May, NJ) Going to Ocean City, MD for the 2015 Motorcycle Show? Travel in biker style aboard our “Biker Only” boats.  For the second year, the Cape May - Lewes Ferry has set aside special departures just for motorcycles and their passengers headed to Bike Week in Ocean City, Maryland. The Ferry tested the idea last year and brought it back this year by popular demand.

The following are the special “Bike-Only” departures:

Leaving Cape May:  September 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Leaving Lewes:  September 20 at 12:15 p.m.

“The motorcycle community really appreciated the special boats last year,” said Jennifer Shivers, customer service manager at the Ferry.  “It’s a great way to meet new people who have the same passion for motorcycles.”

Shivers added that the special departures can carry up to 300 motorcycles and are approximately 2/3rds full, so motorcyclists who plan to take the special departure are urged to make their reservation today.  For the regular motorcycle fare, all riders receive on-board beer specials, special entertainment by “Then There’s Us”, a local group of Vietnam Veterans, and a motorcycle vet pin while supplies last.

If travelling with a group, or with long vehicles please call Guest services to discuss group rates and options.   Contact our Guest Services Center at 800-643-3779 to reserve your space today!
