Get away for a day or a long weekend with Wicomico Recreation, which is offering five bus trips this March through May. Trips leave from and return to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
For the first bus trip of the year, people will travel to see “Show Boat” at Toby’s Dinner Theatre on Wednesday, March 1. The trip departs at 8 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m. The fee is $99 per person.
The Philadelphia Flower Show is the next trip on the schedule. On Friday, March 17, attendees will leave at 9 a.m. and return at 9:30 p.m. The fee is $66 per person.
A three-day, two-night trip to Virginia and North Carolina will be offered from Friday-Sunday, April 21-23. Attendees will enjoy attractions such as Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello; “Mayberry” – the town where Andy Griffith was born; American Celebration on Parade and more. The cost is $395 per person based on double occupancy.
On Wednesday, May 3, travelers can embark on a bus trip heading to Hershey Gardens, which has a butterfly atrium, and take a ride on the Chocolate & History Trolley. The bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. and will return at 9:30 p.m. The cost is $88 per person.
A bus trip on Wednesday, May 17, will take people to see “Crazy for You” at The Candlelight Theatre. The bus leaves at 8 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $105 per person.
