‘Nanamorphosis’ author Elise Seyfried to appear Oct. 17

September 20, 2024

Author and longtime Cape Gazette blogger Elise Seyfried will be reading from and signing copies of her fifth essay collection, “Nanamorphosis: Reflections on an Ever-Evolving Life,” at 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Lewes Public Library. Light refreshments will be served.

Her fifth book of humorous spiritual essays, “Nanamorphosis” contains stories about Seyfried’s large family and her hectic, funny, perfectly imperfect life.

With humor and heart, “Nanamorphosis” is focused on the past few years, including the pandemic, her growing grandsons and her retirement after 20 years from her church job. Seyfried said, “We are all undergoing a metamorphosis, changing and growing, always more complicated and more beautiful.”

Seyfried is also in the process of writing a 100th anniversary commemorative book for the Rehoboth Beach Country Club, and she teaches regular classes with the Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild. She and her husband Steve have produced the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre shows since 1982.
