The 16th annual Lewes Tulip Celebration is in full bloom. With warmer weather arriving, 31,000 tulips of various colors are popping out all over town, like these in Zwaanendael Park. The celebration runs through Easter Sunday, April 20. For details and a calendar of events, go to lewesinbloom.org and leweschamber.com.
Zwaanendael Park is one of the 15 sites where tulips are providing a splash of color. The flowers are planted by Lewes in Bloom and celebrate the city’s Dutch heritage.
Red tulips line the walkway along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal in 1812 Park.
Orange and yellow tulips grace the garden outside the Fisher-Martin House, home to the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
