Alice Marie Bowen, home health nurse
Alice Marie Bowen, 69, of Lewes passed away Monday, July 1, 2019, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Christiana Care. She was born March 11, 1950, in Richmond, Va., daughter of the late Russell and Eunice (Duty) Coxsey.
Ms. Bowen was a homehealth nurse in Texas, Virginia and Delaware, retiring in 2009 after 47 years of dedicated service to others. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Leigh Brower of Frederica; her grandchildren: Collin Lee Brower, Jocelyn Leigh Brower and Ashleigh Morgan Brower, all of Frederica; her brother, David Lee Coxsey of Sanger, Texas; and her nephew, William "Billy" Don Coxsey of Sanger.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Watson-Yates Funeral Home, 609 East King Street, Seaford.
