American Legion collecting winter wear for children

Candice Ruckle, a first-grade teacher at Lewes Elementary School and American Legion auxiliary member, is heading up the Keep Our Community Warm coat, hat and glove drive through Saturday, Dec. 3, on behalf of the American Legion in Sussex County.
New or gently worn gloves, hats, scarves and coats fitting children of all ages can be dropped off at American Legion Post 28, 31768 Legion Road, off Route 24, Long Neck; American Legion Post 24, 28181 Nine Foot Road, Dagsboro; and American Legion Post 17, 113 American Legion Road, Lewes.
