Milford artist Martha Pileggi will demonstrate plein air painting at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the Berlin, Md. public library loft, and again at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday March 1, in the loft or just out front of the library, weather permitting.
Pileggi has been painting since 1985. She currently works mainly in watercolors, a transition from her early work in oil. Her main subjects are the marsh, and garden and farm scenes on the Delmarva Peninsula. Her present focus is plein air painting in outdoor daylight.
During the sessions, Pileggi will answer any questions onlookers have about plein air and the painting process.
