Artists set up their easels in Lewes over the weekend during a workshop sponsored by Rehoboth Art League. Headed by well-known artist Walter Bartman, the group spent all of Oct. 8 in Lewes, ending with a view of the sunset over Canary Creek on Pilottown Road. They also painted at Gordons Pond and painted figures and fishermen on the beach in the Rehoboth Beach area. Bartman has had a local workshop for 15 years.
Bartman teaches landscape, still life and figure painting through classes and workshops at three Maryland studios – Goldfinch Studio in Middletown, Yellow Barn Studio and Gallery in Glen Echo and Summer Deck Studio in Tilghman. For more, go to walterbartman.com and rehobothartleague.org.
