Ashton Group at the Beach wins Pool of the Year Award
Leisure Pools, a world leader in the manufacturing of high-quality, composite fiberglass swimming pools, has awarded its prestigious Pool of the Year Award to the talented professionals of Ashton Group at the Beach, Rehoboth Beach.
The Ashton Group’s installation in Laurel focused on delivering a “vacation where you live” for a successful couple searching for a way to enjoy their own backyard escape.
This was accomplished by using the Leisure Pools Eclipse 40 composite fiberglass swimming pool, paired with a Leisure Pools Sorrento Spa in sapphire blue as the foundation for their project. The team enhanced the swimming pool with bubblers inside it and a series of waterfalls beside an elevated patio and seating area. Travertine pavers and pool coping were laid around the entire project, with custom stone sitting walls using Eldorado stone veneer. A custom kitchen was completed with a 40-by-18-foot shade structure. For another added touch, Bobe’s handmade fire features were placed around the pool deck.

Ashton Group at the Beach is a locally owned, independent business established in 2003 based that relocated to Rehoboth Beach in 2015. Joe Ashton started with a pickup truck, a lawnmower and a few shovels. Since then, the company has grown into a full-service outdoor living contractor and creative design force, helping hundreds of families achieve their backyard dreams.
