Bayhealth shares details about Heart & Vascular Institute with local residents
Bayhealth Foundation recently hosted an informational session with residents of the Nassau Grove community near Lewes to provide an in-depth look at the innovative treatments available through the newly named Bayhealth Heart & Vascular Institute.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about advanced cardiac procedures, minimally invasive surgical procedures such as TAVR and TCAR, and advanced imaging systems within hybrid operating rooms.
“As part of our commitment to the community, we were excited to showcase the exceptional care and resources available within our Heart & Vascular Institute,” said Senior Director Ben Collins. “This session allowed us to provide a comprehensive overview of our services, including innovative treatments, advanced diagnostic tools and our ongoing dedication to improving patient outcomes.”
In addition to program insights, the presentation highlighted achievements and accreditations, including Bayhealth Heart & Vascular Institute being elevated as a HeartCARE Center of Excellence, as designated by the American College of Cardiology, for its efforts as a forward-thinking institution that advances the cause of sustainable quality improvements.
