The Beacon Middle School Vikings moved to 1-1 on the season with a 14-0 win over Seaford at home Sept. 27.
Jeremiah Jackson rushed for more than 100 yards in the game, scoring two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. He also led the team in solo tackles with more than 10.
A stellar defensive performance resulted in the shutout.
“Dylan Fannin, Luke Dennis, ‘Big Country’ Ryan Betins and C.J. Fritchman all had key plays leading to several quarterback sacks and tackles for loss,” said Beacon head coach John Parker. “Brandon Somoza-Lima was also solid in the kicking game."
The Beacon Vikings return to action Thursday, Oct. 4, when they travel to Georgetown Middle School.
