Beacon soccer falls to the Knights

The Beacon soccer squad fell from the undefeated ranks with a 7-3 loss to Georgetown Middle Oct. 11. The Vikings move to 5-1 on the season.
After trailing big early, the Beacon squad responded with three goals.
Beacon’s Filip Pachute, Noah Flechier and Logan Cartijo hit the twine with one goal each. Assists came from from Kihara Ngido and Marshall Keys.
“I was proud of the boys for not giving up and playing hard for the entire 60 minutes,” said Beacon coach Chip Wilt. “We were able to make some adjustments at halftime and made it a competitive game.”
The Vikings will host Smyrna Monday, Oct. 16.
